We all know what we should be eating at meals. But what about those snack cravings that make you feel guilty for wanting them? Manufacturers make healthier options for most snack products. Fat free popcorn, organic potato chips, and chocolate dusted (not coated) nuts are just examples of the many choices out there. 100 calorie packs are a prepackaged way to enjoy the food you love without going crazy. Frozen yogurt has half the fat and calories as ice cream and comes in most of the flavors. And if you have to have a specific sugary treat? It is better to give in in small doses than fight it and possibly binge at a later time. Portion control is the key. Exercising self-dicipline will let you enjoy the foods you love without derailing your fitness gains. Life should be about moderation not deprivation.
